The Wireless networks at Djursland consists of about 250 radio nodes, each giving wireless access for households, institutions and firms in a distance up to 5 km. The radionodes are linked together with high-performance wireless links. Through a number of such links a connection from the individual node is established to fiber-accesses to the global internet (marked at the map with white dots).

This is a installation set mounted on a privat house.
The actual installation is an A-standard antenna with an A-standard radio inside the box.
In the main town of Djursland, Grenaa, we have over the last months observed a very notifiable rise in noise at the B-and G-standards 2.4 GHz band, which we traditionally use for our wireless nodes in the rural areas. For that reason grenaaS.net, who operates in this city as part of DjurslandS.net, have decided to build all new nodes in the cityarea on 5GHz equipment.
